Overview
Zameen Ace Mall is a gateway to luxury living with a fantastic range of amenities – an access to a new level of convenience and recreation.
The project’s design process capitalises on its site, which was situated along a sloped terrain. Our architects creatively used this to an advantage instead of it restricting the design. Main entrances were designed on the three different levels of the slope, each opening to its own set of facilities, which prevented overcrowding at any one point.
With a contemporary take on neoclassical European architecture, Zameen Ace Mall befits the urban fabric of DHA Islamabad. Furthermore, each facility has an intelligent placement. For example, the car parking area immediately leads to the hypermart and the entertainment section is separated completely from the commercial centre. Choosing to do so helped regulate foot traffic across the building.
The irregular shape of the land also highlighted that some corners with increased depth lacked natural light. To resolve this issue, we incorporated two impressive atriums – starting from the base level of the commercial floor till the glass ceiling towards the sky beyond.
Zameen Ace Mall caters to three different types of users – mall visitors, apartment residents, and those staying in the hotel apartments. To avoid any disruption in the movement of these users, the project has separate vertical accesses, leading each to their specific destination directly.
